Dr. Alessia Simon is a medical doctor specialized in General Psychiatry and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy, which form the foundation of her clinical approach. She completed her medical degree at the University of Cluj Napoca (Transylvania), where she also earned her PhD in the Department of Neurology. She began her psychiatry residency at the public hospital Vivantes in Berlin and completed it at the University Hospital of Zurich (PUKZ). She also completed training in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the Milton Erickson Institute in Berlin and deepened her practice of Mindfulness. In parallel, she worked as a neurologist in a private clinic (“Neurologie am Tempelhofer Hafen”).

Since 2021, she has been based in Barcelona, where her clinical focus has shifted toward Integrative Psychiatry—an approach that considers the biological, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural dimensions of mental health.

Thanks to her international background, Dr. Simon provides clinical care in five languages: Spanish, English, German, Romanian, and Hungarian, enabling her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population and to offer culturally sensitive care.
